FAQs
Do you milk your own goats, or get the milk somewhere else?
We have around 60 goats. We don't milk them all, but we do milk a bunch of them, and we use their milk for a bunch of stuff.
What do you do with the milk?
Some of our goat milk is used to create handmade skincare items, like our lotions, soaps, lip balms, and bath salts. We also have a Raw Dairy Permit through the Idaho Department of Agriculture for human consumption.
What do you make for human consumption?
Using goats that are tested and approved, we make crumbled and spreadable cheese, caramels, caramel sauce, custard, and just milk. Our fresh milk items are only made seasonally when the goats are actively in milk.
Do you milk all year?
We currently only milk seasonally. Our typical milk season is May through September. We allow our goats time to breed, carry babies, and provide quality milk for their offspring.
